Sunset in San Francisco:

The peculiar geography of San Francisco to the mountains in front of the sea means that there are dozens of places to watch the sunset, yet few of these sites show some of the beauties of the California city as the Golden Gate with the sun setting, the Bay or the Pacific Ocean horizon. However, it is a beautiful sight to see how the city will gradually illuminate as the day gets darker.

Grand Hyatt on Union Square:

The Grand Hyatt is one of the hotels located in a skyscraper in Union Square, one of the most central locations surrounded by the majority of stores in San Francisco. The Union Square is where you put the Christmas tree of San Francisco and various events and concerts there.

Where is the Grand Hyatt in San Francisco?

The Grand Hyatt San Francisco is in a corner of Union Square. And to watch the sunset, it’s best to climb up to the bar, restaurant, lounge and balcony that has the hotel on the ground 36. Although not the best observation I’ve seen their views on the financial district and the bay are beautiful.

Twin Peaks:

Twin two mountain peaks of almost 300 feet each, located in a quite downtown San Francisco from where it is possible to see the whole city, bay and ocean. As a curiosity, to comment that the Spanish conquistadors named these two similar mountains like the breasts of the Chola, until the nineteenth century Americans became known as Twin Peaks.

Where is Twin Peaks?

To get to Twin Peaks you should go to Twin Peaks Boulevard and follow the road until you reach the top where there is a small park with some telescopes for observing the city. From there you can climb to the top of the mountain to have even better views of the ocean and the bay of San Francisco. We met with many mosquitoes, so I recommend going well covered.

Ocean Beach:

Ocean Beach is the beach adjacent to Golden Gate Park, which is famous for having some strong currents that make it attractive for surfers of San Francisco, but also very dangerous. In the north of Ocean Beach you can find the Cliff House restaurant with a very long history and where you can enjoy brunch great.

How to get to the Coit Tower?

If you have a car I suggest you do the famous tourist street of Lombard Street and follow straight on Lombard Street to reach up to Telegraph Hill. There are a few parks where you can park your car.

Good luck there!
