The shores of Red Sea coral reefs offering superb enclosing a rich underwater life. Also old ports, which are testimony to the intense maritime activity that has shaped the history of Egypt after the Pharaohs. The mountain ranges of the shores, rich in minerals, inspired the mariners of old, who called it a sea Mare Rostrum, or Red Sea. Egypt, one of the most legendary civilizations on the planet, has a huge lucky to have this environment. (more…)

Brazzaville, Congo in the heart of!

The African continent is seldom a reference for tourists. Exceptions, such as Egypt or some Mediterranean cities, Africa is synonymous with the social migration, poverty, the desert. But I never travel for pleasure. Of course, one glaring error.
To the south of the continent, the Sahara, are even less destinations promoted by the agencies. Perhaps South Africa and safari, but it seems no other for the industry. (more…)

Paraguay, the country’s heroic chaco

In 1516, a Spanish conquistador named Alejo García was shipwrecked off the coast of what is now Santa Catarina. There were days when the Indians guaraníes field to ease in southern Brazil, Paraguay and Bolivia. Garcia lived for eight years with the Indians and came to know the fantastic network of roads that had guaraníes tissue in the heart of South America.

Those trails, marked by hills, rivers and waterfalls, were aimed at finding the Earth without evil, a mythical place in which human beings could live in complete happiness. (more…)
