The small and beautiful city of Delft, halfway between The Hague and Rotterdam in the province of Zuid-Holland. It is one of the oldest and best preserved of the Netherlands. His name is the first channel, Delft, which was dug there in 1100. Founded in 1246 by Count Willem II. Surrounded by huge canals, very typical in the Netherlands, was the great example of inspiration of our beloved painter Vermeer, appear beautiful and attractive in most of her paintings. (more…)

It is not a museum and is perhaps not a typical tourist visit, but if you’re in Puerto Rico, you’re in one of the islands of Rum and precisely on the island which has the largest factory of the world. Cabo Polonio, where the stress does not exist!

Deserted beaches, magical sunsets, the melody of the sea and the peace that occurs far from civilization. All this and more are in Cabo Polonio, one of the few places on the coast of Rocha, the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, where it’s no running water, electricity or telephone. Rustic ranches, warehouses simple colonies of sea lions, an old lighthouse and curious tourists is what makes Cape Polonio the perfect place to shake off the stress caused by city. (more…)

Cyprus, the island of Gods

Cyprus an island in the Mediterranean, bordering Turkey, Greece … but with the less fortunate in attracting tourists, why? I do not know, but visit there and spend a few days worth doing, as well as in the Greek islands, Malta and Turkey.

The languages spoken are Greek and Turkish, but do not panic because most of its one million inhabitants speak English (from 1914 until 1960 was the British). (more…)

Forest of El Yunque, a paradise of Puerto Rico

Thick vegetation, numerous species of trees, wild orchids and a rain that never stops, but do not bother, turn this site into something wonderful from the Sierra de Luquillo.

El Yunque is a rainforest on the island of Puerto Rico, specifically about 50 kilometers from the capital, San Juan. A place where they say many things from raining frogs until they have seen aliens, so with data like these, not to any itchy curiosity visit. Think that if you, miss the days, calculated as 4 hours and a half visit. (more…)
