Overview:

Granada its culture and nightlife (Spain)

The city of Granada with the Alhambra is built on the confluence of the rivers Darro and Genil, among the foothills of the Sierra Nevada feraz and plain which bears the name of the city. The population is based on two hills, the Albaicin and the Alhambra, and many travelers who say that if Spain had time to visit only one city, this should be Granada.

Tourism in Spain – Madrid

Madrid is a cosmopolitan city with many theaters, cinemas, opera houses and more than 50 museums and galleries. It is worth visiting el Palacio Real and la Puerta del Sol (which is the Km 0, the point from which all distances in Spain are calculated) and the Plaza Mayor with its shops, pubs and inns.

The green area of Madrid most important is el Parque del Retiro, an old place, with the graves of the Spanish kings. Among its attractions is the lake with boats, the Botanical Garden, and the summer festivals. To the west of the city center is la Casa de Campo, a huge green area with swimming pools, tennis courts, trails and a zoo with an aquarium, near the amusement park. (más…)

Tourism and Visitors to Cervera del Maestre

Treasure or no treasure, there are many reasons for visiting Cervera del Maestre, a small historical town of steep terraced streets that lead down from the castle. This beautiful castle of Moorish origins overlooks the monumental town, which stands atop a rocky outcrop. Here, ancient houses clings teadfastly to the hillside, forming narrow, winding, steep streets, and tracing semicircles that used to help protect the castle in days gone by. (más…)
