Paraguay, the country’s heroic chaco

In 1516, a Spanish conquistador named Alejo García was shipwrecked off the coast of what is now Santa Catarina. There were days when the Indians guaraníes field to ease in southern Brazil, Paraguay and Bolivia. Garcia lived for eight years with the Indians and came to know the fantastic network of roads that had guaraníes tissue in the heart of South America.

One of the areas inhabited since time immemorial by this ethnic group (the largest group of human Paraguay) is the department Canindeyu. They inhabit the Ache and Ava Chiripa self living in communities the resources they bring to the jungle. The region has rivers like Jejui me, Jejui guazú or currents and topography is marked by the powerful presence of the Sierra of Mbaracayu declared Nature Reserve and is considered one of the world’s other high biodiversity.

Paraguay

Mbaracayu currently occupies over 64,000 hectares, is managed by a private foundation and has some infrastructure to accommodate visitors. Its attractions range from its stunning landscapes to the presence of mythical animals such as jaguar, anteater or Guyra bell. It is also possible to contact with indigenous communities in the area.

Chaco:
In its route towards the Earth without Mal, former guaraníes passed through the endless plains of the Chaco, an area dominated by extensive grasslands, sinuous flow of water, sheets and large areas logged. The Chaco is formed, bounded by the Paraguay and Pilcomayo rivers, and its huge size, there are two major areas: on the one hand there is the Dry Chaco, consisting of forests and grasslands, where plentiful cougar, jaguar and tagua. Along the river lies the Pantanal Paraguay, the other major area chaquense formed by numerous races, ponds and lakes and populated by many species of birds, mammals such as the maned wolf or tapir and many of the reptiles which is the alligators, amphibians and invertebrates.

The Chaco is a paradise for nature lovers. Here are the National Parks Chaco Tinfunké, Defensores del Chaco, Black River and Lieutenant Agripino Enciso, and other areas of great interest as Laguna Captain, Mary Field, Pampa, or the Indus Laguna Salada.

Like everyone Paraguay, Chaco is a region rich indigenous. Living here, while retaining much of their customs, makasar and languages, and nivaklés Ayoreo and Guarayos. They were joined by the tufa, the Enxet Angaité and, in addition to tomaraho and ishor, who live north of the River Paraguay.
Many areas of the Chaco region have a tourist infrastructure is well organized and can make walking or riding their national parks, photographic safaris or plan to live with indigenous communities. Moreover, the parks have camping areas, electricity and hot water for free.
 
Paraguay is a country of great horizons barely trodden by mass tourism. Its interior houses the secrets of dozens of different cultures is one of the few Latin American countries where the use of an indigenous language is fully standardized and has a biodiversity that breaks all records on the planet.
