Many travelers are passed through the head once a trip to Iran, but prevention of all types have put the kibosh on the idea. It is true that the Iranian political situation is complex, and also the Islamic Republic is based on the principles of the Koran, contained in the Sharia (Islamic law) and imposes certain respect that many people in present times, and forced to follow certain rules, some quite unpleasant as women’s clothing. Location:

Iran, the country of Persia, is situated in southwest Asia. Located in the center of the crossroads formed by the Arab world, the great plains and the Indian subcontinent. Origins:

Some history:

Cyrus II the Great (599-529 BC) founded the Achaemenid empire, its domains ranging from modern Afghanistan to the Mediterranean. The year 521 a. C. Darius I is proclaimed King of Kings. He established his capital at Persepolis. He suffered a major setback in the battle of Marathon where the Athenians tried to dominate, despite the defeat of their empire stretched from Egypt to the Danube and the Aral Sea to the Indus River.

The Pahlavi (1925-1979) were the last Persian dynasty, adopted Western ways. U.S. alliances with repressive system and led to the 1979 Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khomeini directed.

After Khomeini’s death was reformed Constitution. The Islamic republic system controlled by the supreme spiritual leader continues. There were some signs of political opening hosted by President Khatami, but with the rise of Ahmadinejad went to ruin all hopes of political change.

The Iranians are very communicative. Men and women will strive to speak with foreigners, even in signs. The sensitive nature, kind and always willing to help facilitate the approach. It’s clearly the hospitality and courtesy of the Iranians is most striking to the visitor. The friendliness is the norm and under the entire population.

Lovers of archeology and art were amazed at the historical legacy left by the Persian Empire over the centuries and some of the finest achievements of Islamic architecture. Travelers enjoy the privilege of witnessing the legacy of one of the oldest civilizations. In every corner are visible traces of the rich past.

Landmarks such as Susa and Persepolis excited. Isfahan, Yazd, Shiraz and Kerman evoke the same time that the Silk Road was the route of communication and world’s most important trade.

The visitor will find the authentic setting of the tales of thousand and One Nights. The exoticism overflowing in many cities with their imposing palaces and mosques. The real life is in their bazaars. One of the best experiences are worry and get lost in the maze of alleys and passages of any of the great bazaars. Coming out of the maze we will know better capture the identity of the Iranian people, then the rest in a tea house will be the culmination of immersion in this unique Eastern world.
