Fuentes del Narcea por asturgeol.

Route description
We start from Cangas del Narcea by the AS-213, which brings us to San Pedro de Arbás to Leitariegos and Partial Natural Reserve Arbás Cueto.

We Cangas on the AS-15. A detour to the right (AS-211) leads to Moal, from where a track leads to Tablizo Muniellos entry. Later, turning off the AS-15 to the left, we went to Gedrez and Monasterio de Hermo. We follow the same road south to autonomic Degaña (40 minutes from Cangas) and Cerredo.

Before reaching Degaña can turn right (AS-212) to San Antolin Tormaleo Ibias and where it ends this way.

Cangas del Narcea is the largest municipality of Asturias, a nature paradise with a landscape of great wealth and little altered by man. Its forests are shelter for numerous species, including bears, grouse, deer or wild boar. The many possibilities for excursions and tours by car or on foot, wine and crafts led by the black ceramic-characterize this area.

Later we visit Gedrez to see the church of Santa Maria and the Chapel of Christ (s.XVlll), and the Monasterio de Hermo, one of the valleys giving access to the Natural Park of Fuentes del Narcea d, e Ibias Degaña.

From Degaña, capital of the council, continue to Cerredo, where we see the church of Santa Maria (s.XVlll).

In Tormaleo, and in the council of Ibias stresses Tormaleo Palace (s.XVlll). From there we continued to the capital, San Antolin Ibias, and visited the church of Santa Maria (s.Xlll). The architecture of this council, development of houses castro is interesting. The landscape and gastronomy are here, as in all other territories in the southwestern area, two attractions for any visitor.
