Today we decided to travel to China. We will start our route in the capital Beijing or Beijing, a very cultural city, where destinations include pins as the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Another of the most attractive cities in China is undoubtedly Guangzhou.

This prosperous city located near Hong Kong is also known as Canton. To reach it we must turn to the south of the country. Let our route and go to visit the popular destination of Guilin rural and mountainous. This town known for its beautiful landscapes of hills and rivers. No doubt some of the biggest attractions are the Cave Guilin Reed Flute Cave and Seven Star. The first rests Guangming below the hill on the outskirts of the city, and has this name because from here is extracted to manufacture bamboo flute music. You will be interested to know that today this cave is a symbol of a show of lights and colors as the government has undertaken to restore it and turn it into a beautiful attraction.

It’s time to move to Hangzhou, a beautiful industrial city that is the capital city of Zhejiang. One of the most remarkable monuments of this place considered by many as the paradise on Earth, is the Bay Bridge is a suspension bridge.

Kunming, Shanghai and Suzhou:

Are you ready to travel to China? Great, why not bring yourself to start your route in the city of Kunming? This city is the capital of Yunnan. It is worth mentioning that this is a very modern city. Then we go to visit the historical and cultural city of Nanjing and Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu Province. In the past it was the financial center of the Far East.

We can not visit Shanghai, famous for its bustling commercial life. It is certainly one of the best places to make purchases across the country. It is worth mentioning that this city is considered not only as one of the most populous country but the world as it is home to 20 million people. Shanghai is different from other Chinese cities for its western side where skyscrapers stand out. Today it is known as the Lady of Asia or the Pearl of the Orient, and is a trendy destination for the rich and famous. You will be interested to know further that this year 2010 will create a naval museum.

For its part, Suzhou is known as the Venice of the East, and noted for its canals and elegant gardens. No doubt this is one of the most popular cities across the country as well as being an industrial center offers a number of attractions, historical and cultural. It is worth mentioning that one of the most visited natural areas of the city is Lake Taihu.

Attractions in Beijing:

Peking or Beijing, you like to call it is the capital of China and is presented as a cultural city full of ancient traditions and architectures that are pleasing to the eye of any visitor.

Without a doubt, one of the places that we can not miss during our visit is the historic Tiananmen Square in Dongcheng District, or the spectacular Forbidden City, which we have talked in past occasions.

You can also visit shrines as the Temple of Heaven or the Temple of the Buddha, or go to the Summer Palace Luxurious.

In the district of Chaoyang find the National Stadium, also known as Bird Nest, a symbol of the 2008 Olympics.

However, there are many other places to know that may not be included within the usual tourist guides. For example we can go toward the Peking Man Cave, an archaeological site where remains have been found of the first men in Beijing, known as Homo erectus pekinensis. It is worth mentioning that the first excavations were conducted in the decade of the ’20s. Since the early 80’s, this place is considered as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. To visit this place we should go about 50 miles from city center to the village of Zhoukoudian.

If you decide to make a shopping trip in Beijing, we recommend you go to the shops and markets in which they are offered fabrics, pearls, Chinese vases, and you can even find imitation purses and shoes, among other products at very good prices.

Guiyang and its surroundings:

In the city of Guiyang is possible to find another kind of tourism in many cities in China, much more dedicated to the natural charm, here you can find the peaceful Lake Baihua, a place where you can see one of the most splendid natural landscapes around this eastern country. Can be found around lots of green hills and lakes that have clear water and quiet. You may find this little treasure on earth of China to a wide variety of birds that live only in this region, making it more colorful. You may also find many small islands. To get here we must move about 22 kilometers from the center of the city.

Then we go to meet Qianling Park, where wild monkeys can be seen wandering quietly around here. Within this park we can visit a zoo.

If religious tourism is Hongfu then go to the Temple. In reality it is a monastery that was built by the Qing Dynasty. It is worth mentioning that this temple has built 300 years, is regarded as one of the most important Buddhist shrines in the area.

On the outskirts of the city we can find Tianhetan Caves and the Huaxi Park.

A little further we can practice ecotourism, visiting Huangguoshu Falls, which come Baishui River product.

Then we go towards Zhijin Caves or the Caves of Longgong also known as the Caves of the Dragon Palace. In both places we see a landscape without equal.

No doubt China is a country that will appeal to all types of travelers.
