Seven athletes from the national synchronised swimming team and five dolphins are offering an internationally unique show at Benidorm’s aquapark, Mundomar: synchronised ballet with dolphins. The swimmers’ and dolphins’ visual appeal and precision come together in an aquatic choreography that starts with the first notes of well-known songs. The swimmers Anna Rabanal, Joana Filella Álvarez, Laia D’Altair, Mireia Bravo, Melani Foster, Itahisa Robaina and Else Töpfer together with the dolphins, the performers in this unusual aquatic and musical show.

The choreography was possible thanks to Mundomar specialists’ in-depth knowledge of dolphins. Knowledge that has helped to find a dance adapted to the dolphins’ natural movements and which has also allowed for excellent interaction between the swimmers and dolphins, from the first moment. Mundomar gives two performances daily: at 13.30 and at 17.15.

With a surface area of 60,000 metres square and over four million litres of water in its tanks, Mundomar is the perfect habitat for wild animals. Its facilities house more than 500 animals, including –apart from the dolphins– sea lions, seals, penguins, racoons, prairie dogs or bats, and a large variety of birds.

Contains playground where children can have fun with slides, ramps, bridges and a variety of attractions and swings, we can also find restaurants, gazebos, bird, dolphin, and so on.

We can begin the journey in «The cave of bats, where we can start flying mammal with the most fascinating of nature.

In «The galleon stranded» we can see the dolphins under water through windows. The dolphins are the main stars of Mundomar, here you can enjoy these recrearte and loving and intelligent animals.

In the «bird» can enjoy a wide variety of exotic birds that enjoy a privileged space to contemplate in all its fullness.

The spectacle of seals and sea lions have a humorous touch of fun, the stunts of these ingenious animals will make you laugh. And as Mundomar have in place all the animals can not miss the fun aspect of the Penguins.

At the same time can enjoy Mundomar landscape, cross lakes, vegetation and trails, see impressive waterfalls … and enjoy this park full of charm.

In February 2009, will welcome back the whole family which consists of the nature park and open all.
