When planning a vacation trip to the United States, and specifically to the West Coast, we always have limited time off the cities, national parks and other places that we are interested in visiting.
Therefore, planning the journey becomes a choice. Los Angeles is an essential stop on the West Coast, but so are San Francisco and Las Vegas, or national parks, like Yosemite or the Grand Canyon. In this situation, many travelers try to concentrate on a single day’s visit to Los Angeles, whether we can spend some extra day to visit theme parks like Universal Studios or Disneyland.
Plan must for a day in Los Angeles:
Then I will propose a plan to visit “when in Los Angeles, which can concentrate in one day. That yes, this plan is ideal if you have a car for having rented for our trip through the West Coast.
The Walk of Fame Hollywood:
1 – Hollywood Boulevard
Our visit starts with Los Angeles on Hollywood Boulevard. Let’s go straight to the Walk of Fame in Hollywood, where stars are artists, the famous Kodak Theater, and where we can see the famous Hollywood sign. In this famous, busy street in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theater, find the handprints of the artists on the sidewalk.
2 – Panoramic views from the Griffith Observatory
Being on Hollywood Boulevard is relatively easy climb to the lookout at the Griffith Observatory, where we will have the best panoramic views of the city.
3 – Historical Center of the City of Angels
After visiting the observation deck, we can go to the center of the city center, where in addition to seeing the highest skyscraper in this California city, we will find more historical areas such as Old Pueblo Historical Monument in Los Angeles, or Central Railway Station (Union Station).
4 – Shops and homes of Beverly Hills
Now it’s time to go to the coast. Of all the famous beaches are in Los Angeles, choose to go in Santa Monica, allowing us to pass through Beverly Hills, the district where they live artists and celebrities of the city.
In addition to viewing the environment by making a tour through the residential area where houses are large (it is difficult to see them because they are fenced), we can take a walk along the famous shopping street via Rodeo Drive.
5 – Santa Monica Beach
And as the latest step in this proposed plan to visit Los Angeles in one day, we reach the famous beach of Santa Monica. The night will be virtually thrust upon us, but will provide an opportunity to stroll along the famous pier Santa Monica Pier, where the small Pacific Park amusement park, and where we can close the day dining at one of the restaurants.
