Benidor – Beaches

Beach holidays Add comments

The city is synonymous with fun in summer and also in winter, as it boats all of the necessary ingredients to whet the appetite of any visitor. This is nothing unusual in Benidor, where regardless of whether it’s december, february, may or agust, the beach is always ready, the sun shines on the horizon and the water is clean and warm. The Benidorm skyline emerges each morning framed between Tossal de la Cala at one end and the Sierra Helada mountains at the other. In the middle, the white and blue fortress of the Castle and the sandy Mal Pas separate the Levante and Poniente beaches; the former more urban and cosmopolitan, the latter much less crowded. Benidorm has grown in step with its coastlines and even though it still boasts intimate and secluded coves, Levante and Poniente are its beaches par excellence: broad swathes of white sands with all imaginable kinds of entertainment and fun. Bathed by the warm Mediterranean, Benidorm‘s beaches are also places to enjoy peace and quiet, sports, relaxation, sunshine and the sea during the winter months. Who says that beaches are just for summer, in a city of warm winters and endless sands, where the fun-loving Levant spirif infuses alI?

Benidorm beach is also a haven for more peaceful souls who prefer to wander at the water’s edge, leaving footprints that the sea will always wash away, or for those who visit the “library beaches” to read the papers or the latest publishing sensation.
Benidorm is synonymous with fun in summer and also in winter, being as it is a privileged city that boasts all of the necessary ingredients to whet the appetite of any visitor, no matter what the time of year.
