Aigüestortes National Park and Lake Sant Maurici
Located in the Pyrenees, Aigüestortes offers visitors more than forty thousand acres of nature, magnificent forests and meadows, towering snowcapped peaks and the largest lake area in southern Europe, with more than 200 lakes.

Natural Park Alt Pyrenees
Created in August 2003, the Park of High Pyrenees than sixty thousand hectares and is the largest in Catalonia. Distributed between the regions of Pallars Sobirà and Alt Urgell, preserves the last pristine forests of the mountains and exceptional flora and fauna.

Natural Park of Cadi-Moixeró
With an area of 41,342 hectares, this park includes the Sierra del Cadi, Moix and the Natural Area of National Interest Pedraforca Massif. The geological diversity, vegetation and wildlife are the main attractions.

Massif Pedraforca
Natural Park of Cadi-Moixeró, is the largest park in Catalonia. Located in the Pyrenean foothills, the type of limestone results in an abrupt relief. The cliffs of the north are particularly impressive. The Pedraforca, so as property, is one of the symbols of walking in Catalonia.

It is a mountain park, located between 800 m in the valley bottoms and del Vulture 2648, of great interest for their biodiversity, vegetation and fauna.

Natural Park of Cap de Creus
The first marine park-land of Catalonia protects Creus Cape Peninsula and its marine environment. Located on the eastern tip of the Iberian Peninsula, the park has four integrated reservations and has a land area of 10,813 hectares and 3,073 hectares marine.

Natural Area of National Interest Albera Massif
Land of transition between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean plains, the Albera Massif is an ecological unit and high quality landscape that stretches from the Perts to the sea.

Natural Park of the Empordà marshland
The second most important wetland in Catalonia occupies 4800 hectreas divided among nine municipalities. Ornithological paradise, include integrated reservations Caramany Island, Les Estanys Llaunes and Els.

Natural Park of the Garrotxa Volcanic Area
The largest volcanic region of the Iberian Peninsula consists of more than 40 inactive volcanoes, but not extinguished, and a score of lava flows. Holm, oak, beech and more than a thousand flowering plants are part of this unique landscape.

Lake areas of the Vall d’Aran
La Vall d’Aran valley is a Atlantic crossed by the Garonne river that runs through the lands of Aquitaine and ends in Bordeaux. The mountains form a natural barrier and 30% of its area exceeds 2,000 m altitude.

Excellent destination for hiking, the Pyrenees have more than 1,000 km of marked trails that allow you to enjoy the great pleasure smooth gait.

Direct access to the history, customs and natural culture and heritage of Catalonia, the great trails are complemented by a large range of tourist routes, a network of local trails and a multitude of variations.
