L´Assut de Antella Rural Tourism Centre, beside the River Júcar, is the perfect spot for outdoor leisure and adventure programmes, just 45 kilometres away from Valencia. The centre, standing in a spectacularly beautiful setting, has capacity for 54 people in rooms with up to 6 beds in a modern, two-storey building next to L’Assut de Antella, where the water of the River Júcar arrives and accumulates. The company Desconecta offers a wide variety of sporting activities, arranged by level. Canoeing, climbing, the climbing wall, archery or abseiling, trekking and mountain-biking, pot-holing, orienteering, activities for schools or the water route are just some of the rural centre’s activities. Next to L’Assut, there is a zone prepared for bathing and bicycles can be hired.

An environment designed for the enjoyment, for relaxation or meditation, where the senses are amplified. A combination of mountain and water spiced with the aroma of fine orange blossom wrapped in a single area that can develop activities or simply release tension. Come and enjoy.

The modern building has rooms of various capacities (from two to four, six and seven seats), all with their corresponding bathroom and a small terrace with a view to «L’Assut,» and with a total capacity for 66 people.

All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and are air-conditioned, one of which is specially designed for use by disabled people.

The center also has a living room with glazed with a view to «l’Assut» and equipped with TV, VCR, stereo, board games, and so on. There is also a dining room with homemade menus for guests staying there.

And it works a restaurant, free access to the general public, and bearing the same name of the center, «L’Assut.» It has a fireplace and on the outside terrace allows for a nice lunch or dinner outdoors in the pleasant surroundings of «l’Assut.» Specializing in rice dishes and grilled meats, with all the homemade desserts.
 
The equipment is located on the northern tip of the population of Antella, at the foot of the mountains and shores of Xùquer. It is building a new plant with a configuration that longitudinal, on a stone as a socket, has two heights. At the level of access are located primarily a multipurpose room and bar facilities, dining with a large terrace-porch and kitchen, bedroom and administrative units for the disabled.
 
The top level is intended for individual bedrooms, double and with a capacity of up to 6 people, with attached bath. They have access through a corridor overlooking the river.

Sports activities

LLA company «Disconnect SL», which manages the center of modern tourism, provides customers with all kinds of sports activities. From canoeing to climbing, rock climbing face, archery or rappelling, and hiking up the mountain bike, the caves, orientation courses, activities for schools, water route, thematic activities, etc …. always under the supervision of tçecnicos graduates and using approved materials and liability insurance and accident included in the price.

In the same «Assut,» you can practice canoeing, there enabled an area for swimming, featuring bicycle hire service. There is also an interesting option in canoes down a stretch of the river Xúquer, from the weir of Escalona (Sumacárcer) l, d Assut, Antella, with a tour of more than 7 miles and last approximately two and a half hours.

The environment where the activities take place is very extensive, as it includes, apart from the area of L’Assut, a number of landscape attractions such as the Caroig Massif, a mountain range comprising 23 municipalities in the districts of La Ribera Alta, La Costera and La Canal de Navarrés, and which is the Region of Valencia’s geographical centre. The GR-7 path, the Tous and Escalona reservoirs, the Río Grande, the rupestrian paintings in the Araña Cave, Muela de Cortes National Reserve, the rio Fraile in Rajasthan (Valle), the Albufera of Anna, River Fraile in Bicorp or the Albufera de Anna are some of the attractions along the way.
