Taj Mahal revisited... por jazzpic.

The story turns upon the construction of the Taj Mahal is one of the most beautiful that can be counted: the emperor Shah Jahan and his beloved Mumtaz Mahal. It is a love song to a sublime love that will last over time, and kept alive in each of the stones of the temple, each of flowers of the gardens surrounding it, is a love that surrounds you and remains within you, while the eyes of those who admire what we cannot look away this sublime work. And it is this love, this wonderful story that the Taj Mahal has become a symbol throughout the history of humanity, not its unparalleled beauty, but its history. Not perfection, but a deep impression on anyone who causes his heart lies in those tired gardens.

Shah Jahan, she met her beloved Arjumand in a bazaar where she sold items in glass, impressed by her beauty but could not open his mouth to express his admiration. It took five years and a marriage that had two sons, but his love, stuck in his heart only for one eye, continued. Began their relationship, but were pursued by his father, the Emperor. Finally, they unite in marriage, and she Arjumand, became known as Mumtaz Mahal, «Chosen of the Palace».

Love became stronger with each day that passed. They looked happy together and through the gardens, the palace in the city. They lived for each other. As she accompanied him on every military campaign being conducted, he filled with gifts and such. After the death of the Emperor, his father, Jehangir, Shah Jahan acceded to the throne. But soon after she received an unexpected blow.

Taj Mahal por pacifer.

All that was recalling the story in the bank who chairs the pond in front of the mausoleum. My eyes, lost in the calm waters of the pond, including water lilies, they recalled the end of that tragedy.

In Burhanpur, while on military campaign, he warned that the thirteenth of his birth was complicated woman. Shah Jahan ran desperate to meet his wife, but nothing was done. Mumtaz Mahal died giving birth to her 13th child. The year was 1630, and the Emperor could only give him one last kiss goodbye. Shot is held in the Red Fort which is just across the river Yamuna. Abandoned, forgotten world, spent his last years there, and leaving the empire in the hands of their successors, but not before ordering that the river, opposite the Red Fort was built the most beautiful mausoleum that human eyes can see. In that vast white marble palace were deposited the remains of his beloved Mumtaz Mahal, almost twenty years later in the year 1648. A year later, when Shah Jahan died, was buried in the mausoleum next to his wife to sleep eternally together, together forever.

The Taj Mahal … could talk about how it is, its perfection, its architecture, its style, could tell that it is in the city of Agra in northern India in the state of Uttar Pradesh…. But none of this is important, because his greatness is how it feels.

And so, with the enlarged heart for being in front of one of the greatest wonders of the world, but also sad about the story of two lovers, I got up that nostalgic bank, to slide my steps towards the silent departure, and there, on the porch, and evening, with the last rays of sun illuminating his silhouette, I turned my head to say goodbye, and to take one last picture that is forever in my heart…
