The Puquios in Mendoza

Hidden in the snow, 180 km from the city of Mendoza and just 5 of the Penitentes ski resort, a perlite has been growing over the past five years. The Puquios, the first snow park in the province, we are invited to ski with very affordable rates and adding other options such as ice skating outdoors, bike rides, snowshoeing, sledding and tubbing.

Site characteristics:

There are no chairs or LF huge promotion. Just three lifts that lead to different tracks and altitudes in the mountains, but offer a wide choice bounded to beginners and intermediate skiers. The protagonists here are families with children who come and go with inexperienced young skiers. Traditionally, about 4500 people passed through The Puquios each season. This year, after a sustained investment, its leaders expect about 25,000 visitors. (más…)

6. Argentina – Jesuit Block and stays Córdoba

The Way of the Jesuit Estancias allows us to know, in addition to stunning works of colonial architecture, a history of special interest to the continent. The Society of Jesus was installed in Cordoba in 1599 and began performing a dizzying task of religious and labor that led to the creation of a university and several colleges. To support these institutions, the Jesuits formed productive enterprises, large agricultural and livestock facilities, with rooms built between 1616 and 1725 around a church or chapel. Some of these buildings are maintained in good condition, some have museums and are the heart of this circuit declared a World Heritage Site in 2000. (más…)

Chiclayo Information

Chiclayo is a city of Peru where the hot sun, desert oases and the fresh sea breeze come mutually. Fairy story has it that the god Naylamp glided here jointly with a vast retinue thousands of years ago to originate his empire. In fact, many olden civilizations saw the intentional benefit of controlling this region, which today is a major business hub in northern Peru, where routes come mutually from the coast, highlands and jungle.

Chiclayo City is the capital of the department of Lambayeque, which gave elevation to the pre-Hispanic cultures as Mochica, Sicán or Lambayeque and Chimú.

Chiclayo City is a competent and economical influence city from the north of the country. Located on a productive valley, where agriculture activities are very vital, outstanding rice production, sugar cane and cotton. It is a considered point in the middle of many highways and roads connections.

Cusco Travel

Cuzco was the center of the Inca Empire and can be recognized Peru’s tourist capital nowadays because of the rich Incan heritage. A lot of of the streets in the city heart are lined with buildings including entire parts of ancient Inca walls. The streets are habitually stepped, narrow and crowded and possibly don’t look that diverse from those in earlier days.

The center of Cuzco is on the plaza de armas. The Avenida de Sol, leading approximately speaking south-east from the plaza is the principal business street. To the north and the east of the Plaza de Armas you discover the old quarters of Cuzco. Cuzco houses three excellent museums that are worth a visit.  The markets of Cuzco are fantastic for getting Indian craftwork. The Plaza San Blas is one of the greatest places to observe it made. The street leading up to it possesses various shops.
