Altea, about 50 kilometers north of Alicante, in the midst of a pleasant bay protected by a mountain range, is one of the most beautiful places in the Spanish Mediterranean coast.
Its white houses are clustered around a hill that crowns the parish church, where stands a beautiful dome covered with blue glazed tiles, which stands out from the whites of the village.
