San Francisco is known as the city of seven hills, which once was Telegraph Hill, Nob Hill, Russian Hill, Rincon Hill, Mount Sutro, Twin Peaks and Mount Davidson. Today, San Francisco has 44 hills.

The peculiar geography of San Francisco to the mountains in front of the sea means that there are dozens of places to watch the sunset, yet few of these sites show some of the beauties of the California city as the Golden Gate with the sun setting, the Bay or the Pacific Ocean horizon.
