San Francisco is known as the city of seven hills, which once was Telegraph Hill, Nob Hill, Russian Hill, Rincon Hill, Mount Sutro, Twin Peaks and Mount Davidson. Today, San Francisco has 44 hills.

The peculiar geography of San Francisco to the mountains in front of the sea means that there are dozens of places to watch the sunset, yet few of these sites show some of the beauties of the California city as the Golden Gate with the sun setting, the Bay or the Pacific Ocean horizon. San Francisco is one of California’s principal cities and an enormous draw for travelers. San Francisco attractions include its amazing sunny temperature, its gung-ho populace and beautiful sights. If you want to do San Francisco sightseeing, you can be sure that you’ll have a good time. There are of course lots of things to do in San Francisco.

San Francisco attractions include Alcatraz Island, which used to be a penitentiary, and is now a principal tourist draw. The Golden Gate Bridge, the Old Faithful Geyser of California, Chinatown and the cable cars are top of the list when it comes to San Francisco sightseeing. (más…)
