Isla de Pascua was created by the successive emergence of three volcanoes, which constitute a huge stress on submarine platform.

Volcanic and 180 square kilometers in size, the island has interesting archaeological attractions of its culture and its unique ancient monuments carved from stone.

It is the main access to Chile especially for countries located east of the Pacific Ocean and is also a research center devoted to the scientific study of climate, sea and space. (más…)
