The department of Chuquisaca is located south of the Republic of Bolivia is bordered to the north with the departments of Potosi, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz in the south with the department of Tarija, on the east by the department of Santa Cruz and the Republic of Paraguay and the west by the department of Potosí.
