One of the most rewarding activities we find in Andorra, is to know its mountains, forests and lakes. There are countless routes, lakes and valleys to go and many mountains to climb. Here we propose some ascents:

If there are good walking trail GRP1: Great tour P1. Andorra Trail traverses the entire principality in a circular.

– Ski resort of Ordino-Ordino (700 m descent).

– In Andorra la Vella Encamp on the hill of Beixalís.

– De la Massana Pal, by the Val d’Os.

Nordic skiing:

– Cross country skiing center of La Rabassa (SantJuliaLoria).

Alpine Skiing: Skiing in Andorra is divided into two main areas; Vallnord and Grandvalira.

Vallnord

Surrounded by peaks, vast tracts of forests and magnificent lakes. This is the scenario surrounding Vallnord. One year, the supply of the skiing public is focused on its priority, families who find in the North Valleys of natural space, relationships, values, sports and entertainment. Vallnord consists of Pal, Arinsal and Ordino-Arcalis

La Massana

La Massana is a parish that combines the most characteristic features of traditional Andorra with a range of leisure and culture very innovative. Here go unforgettable holiday, whether you seek peace and if you want action and adventure. Situated at 1230 meters high, the person of La Massana is the head of the parish that bears his name.

In the center of town is the multipurpose community building is the closet where the City Hall, Home of the Retired, School of Music, Traffic, Social Welfare and Public Parking. In the center of town find the cable that connects the village with the ski resort of Pal-Arinsal, allowing us to leave our car in the village and access to the slopes comfortably enjoying the scenery.

Pal

The village of Pal is undoubtedly authentic jewel of the Romanesque, with cobbled streets and the magic of their homes by the church of Sant Climent. From Pal through the Pass of the bottle and the Port of Cabús, one arrives at the village of Tor Lleida, on a pleasant excursion that allows you to enjoy spectacular scenery.

Arinsal

When we speak of Arinsal is obliged to pronounce the names of their picks: The Comapedrosa, The Medecorba, El Pla de l’Estany … because they are the highest in the country.

Arinsal is the gateway to the Natural Park Comapedrosa Valleys. The main attraction of this area is the imposing mountain scenery, dominated by the giant Andorran, as well as the numerous lakes, waterfalls and fountains that are along its vast network of trails and shelters that allow us to make a great number of excursions.

Ordino

It is the third parish in the Principality. This is one of the most important localities and Andorra is located at the foot of the Pic de Casamanya.

Population illustrious history, Ordino has played an important role in the development of the Principality. It was formerly the parish of the powerful «pairals houses» of Andorra. From the stately homes that have survived include the baron’s hometown of Don Guillem Areny Fiter Plandolit and family-Riba, where he lived Mossen Cinto Verdaguer.

Among the monuments we must mention the Romanesque church with a graceful bell tower, and City Hall. Nearby are the «Cova de Casamanya» and the ruins of the castle of «Mecca».

Grandvalira:
It is the largest ski area in the Iberian Peninsula. We expect 193 km of tracks in the heart of Andorra, the country of the Pyrenees. Also six different entrances, 67 modern lifts, 110 tracks of all lengths and difficulty, 3 areas of Freestyle and 40 points of height restoration.

Located north of the Principality of Andorra in the area of the border with France. The space it occupies is part two of the seven parishes of Andorra – Encamp and Canillo-hits and has 6 different tracks, all along the main road between General 2, known as Ctra de France. Going up the river valley of the East Valira river that gives name to the station is reached, and in this order, the fits of Encamp, Canillo, El Tarter, Soldeu, Grau Roig and Pas de la Casa.

Of course, the activities in Andorra are much more so as to complement the return trip to this destination.
