I had the opportunity to visit the Big Island of the Caribbean: Cuba!, An extraordinary place frozen in time and is in many respects a “isolated” in the world.

The scientists suggest that the use of ropes would be impracticable in these cases (the strings of these dimensions would break or change its length because of the enormous pressure to keep them in power). So, it is likely that the Egyptians used a diameter wheels royal cubit to measure distances, rolling them and counting the revolutions (each full rotation of the wheel).

And, as we saw in the example of the conference before, this is where Pi leaves his mark on the final measures. When the Egyptians wanted to measure the height of the pyramid, they just had to pile wheels above the other, and counted. (más…)

One of the features that most interest of Barcelona is its location between mountains and sea. In half an hour can move from one of the city’s beaches to see it from the top of one of the mountains that surround it. Collserola is one of the balconies of privilege over the city.

Collserola Park is one of the largest expanses of green and close to the city. This is presented with more than 6,500 hectares of Mediterranean vegetation where you can stroll and enjoy the air, something more pure through this area, walk to town. These hills surrounding Barcelona, we offer many attractions to spend a day trip if you’re sightseeing in Barcelona, and for those living in the city, this is a recreational area, where the roads are filled with people walking, done routes or bike paths runs over the sunny weekend. To enjoy the moment and get to cope with the long Thai bargains in any market, there are a few tips, the result of practice, and of course without being an infallible mathematical formula that will help us find the best prices without imposing a bad drink.

In general, Thai people in their job or business door as we passed we will smile and greet us. Surely they want to choose them for our purchases or for a massage, but never coerce us, greeting and smile politely used to tell us are there and whether they need it, be happy to assist. Although at first surprise occurs, with the days get used to the compliments and just return them and enjoy the ride. (más…)

If you cross certain boundaries and of itself often becomes a long process of queues and bureaucracy, there is a curious document called ‘visa “that even I can not understand its usefulness. Yes, yes, I know that maybe in the beginning it was a way to make control inputs to the country, but today it looks more like an extra source for economic gain that control mechanism.

How I came to this conclusion? Preparing my trip, which will pass through several countries, I’ve found that no single type of visa but depending on the government, the agreements you have with the country of origin and basically its tourism policy, we will have different procedures for crossing the border. Long before it became fashionable theories about the construction of the pyramids of Egypt or that talk of aliens, inhabitants of Atlantis, it was thought that they were the work of God. The early Christians and Muslims believed that the pyramids were built shelters to survive the Flood.
