Walking in The Moskitia: coast, savannah and jungle

The exuberance of its vegetation and isolation have kept their people, has made La Moskitia in a booming ecotourism destination. It is not yet exploited in this regard, and most agencies operating in the area just take 3 years organizing facilities and circuits to facilitate access to foreigners who want to know the area.

As mentioned in previous article, The Moskitia is divided into three very distinct areas, the coastline, savannah and rainforest. The arrival by plane takes place in Brus Laguna, one of the main towns where you start the climb up the Rio Platano. If you need to buy a staple or soda type drinks (drinking water is guaranteed in other stops on the circuit), is to buy them in small shops in Brus Laguna. Tulum one of the wonders of Mexico

Tulum is one of the places of the Riviera Maya that still retains nearly its original beauty. This population (which has grown by millions of tourists who visit the area each year) and has only one street that corresponds to the main road (Ave. Tulum) that reaches Chetumal hostels can be found at reasonable prices, cheap eats and all kinds of souvenirs related to some Mexican crafts. But the beauty of Tulum is located on the beach and maybe in small Mayan ruins are one of the best postcards of the area.

Graz, meaning small castle, is Austria’s second city (capital of the province of Styria), has one of the best preserved old towns in central Europe in 1999 declared a World Heritage Site. But Graz suffered through an interesting metamorphosis to be the representative of the City of European Culture 2003. In addition Graz has 6 universities and more than 44mil students, which makes this small town in a typical college town.
