The Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China is one of the most brutal civil engineering in the history of mankind. Chronicles say that during 2100 years (from the V century BC to the sixteenth century), the Chinese fortifications were protected from invasions of nomads from the north. And its main purpose was not to prevent it from being crossed, but rather prevent the invaders brought horses against them.

Emperor Qin Shi Huangdi, famous among other things to do Terracotta soldiers, Xian (statues), unified the empire in 221 BC and joined the stretches of wall constructed previously. (más…)

What does a beach is a virgin? Not exactly the idyllic image that usually one made of a Caribbean beach with golden sand and coconut trees. It is a beach where there are no tourist services, even lifesaving surveillance, where the hand of man has not acted yet and usually are far from the beaten path, but certainly this latter feature is more a cause than a result.

Arc de Triomphe in Paris

The Arc de Triomphe in Paris, is perhaps the most famous triumphal arch of which exist today, and the second highest in the world, surpassed only by the arch built in North Korea in 1982 to commemorate the 70th birthday its leader Kim Il-Sung.

The Parisians called L’Etoile, and revere him as a symbol of French national spirit, is one of the most important sights of Paris. Located in the center they say is the world’s largest roundabout on Place Charles de Gaulle, Place de l’Étoile before, west of the Champs Elysees. The arch honors those who died fighting for France, particularly during the Napoleonic Wars, and since 1920 also houses the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. (más…)

In Prague, people are not united in session. If you visit the city in peak tourist season, Prague is synonymous with many people, the crowd is seen getting into the crowd, trying to steal away the space the idea of space. It can take forty minutes to cross the bridge 500 meters from Charles IV, or feel that the cheese from air in the Old Town Square lacks circulation holes. However, none of this gets to tarnish his legendary status as a city. It did not take more than a few minutes to revere their streets and their fronts elusive harmonious, and feel that it pays to be there.
