Xian Terracotta Warriors

In 1974, some farmers seeking water after a drought in central China, found when digging a trench in the territory of Xian. What would be surprised to make the excavation? Then they found inside the pit an army of more than 7000 men ready for battle, with their horses and weapons. These men of eternal and immortal made of terracotta, were the guardians of the tomb of China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huang, who ruled for over 2200 years the Asian territory.

The complex was discovered as a result of that excavation continues to astonish the world even today. The terracotta figures (Terracotta Warriors) were created under the belief that, after death, the emperor would still command his army. They are buried in battle formation in three pits (at least at three pits were found.) They are located just over a mile from the tomb of the Emperor, who were supposed to care for and serve. (más…)

Ecotourism in China

Let’s start going through the natural areas of China in Huashan. What is it? For it is one of the famous Holy Mountain (5 mounts), a place of pilgrimage for the Taoists to 2,200 meters above sea level, and it is precisely here that we find a temple of religion to which people come today and any in times of yore to emperors. To reach this peak as the most spectacular of all, we must turn to the south of Huanyin in Shaanxi, in Tibetan areas of the country, specifically in northwestern China. According to some travelers is one of the most dangerous tourist routes not only within the country or Asia but worldwide.

Now go toward the Mount Sanqing, a Taoist mountain to be found in Jiangxi province, also known as Gan, specifically in the southeast of the country. It is worth mentioning that this place has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Why? Because of its appearance as for its variety of animal species and vegetation. (más…)

Jordan is usually a special tourist destination for lovers of archeology and adventure tourism. One of her special jewel is the wonderful city of Petra, winning second place in the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2007, establishing himself as one of the historical and tourist attractions valued worldwide.

The name was given to this ancient city, is directly related to the nature of their location. Petra is one Latin word in Spanish means stone, and not just the city stands on the stone, but part of it. Large Stone Mountain explain this phenomenon caused by the human hand, showing a huge city composed of a rich and delicate architecture product of enormous carved stones.
