Doing a bit of history on Brasilia, say that the capital of Brazil, was built in the middle of nowhere and populated by staff from other parts of the country. The sky is the sea of Brasilia. Yes, the phrase is a slogan. But one consolation. In Brasilia, the sea is far away. Far away. And that, for many Brazilians, especially for those who came from the coast, which ever came from Rio de Janeiro, could have been a great tragedy. (más…)

With 45 hectares of green space, trees and lakes, a great restaurant in the center, plus food stalls and cafes. The city of Amsterdam, has opened a museum devoted to film. Not only is a perfect place to breathe nature and organize a picnic between squirrels that run around, but also offers in June, July and August, plays and free outdoor concerts.

But aside from the museums and places is a far more modest attraction that almost every tourist wants to see in Amsterdam, beyond consumer than what is sold there: the coffee shops. Almost an emblem of the city, far from being a simple coffee house, these bars offer a menu that includes marijuana mixed with snuff for 3 euros and 6 euros smoking a cigar, or chocolate and cannabis brownies with coffee, which costs 5 euros. Bogotá: El Tren de la Sabana

Ferrocarril de la Sabana de Bogotá, commonly known as the “Tren de la Sabana”, was a company that provides rail transportation services since 1889 between the towns of the Metropolitan Area of Bogota. The Savannah Railway was settled in 1991 along with the National Railways of Colombia.

The construction of the railroad from Bogota to Facatativá was hired in 1873 and work began in 1882 by a private company. The work was suspended in 1885 due to riots, for this time and reached a length of 18 km. A new contract was concluded in 1886 to finish the work with the new “Railway Company of Savannah.” When the railway was opened in July 1889 its length was 40 km. In 1887 he was hired to build the line Zipaquirá; thereafter the Sabana Railway spread throughout the Bogotá peaked in 1953, with an approximate area of 200 km. (más…)
